Enchanted is the central energy of March. Wonderment, the pathway to a ‘nother world or dimension. A time to feel a little more ‘in awe’ of the world around us as we may have done through child’s eyes.
The Six of Cups shares that childlike energy. It’s a card of emotional nostalgia. Perhaps you are touching base with some of the things that brought you joy from your childhood? It’s likely there’s some memory has rooted in your heart. You want to carry this with you or weave it into your emotional life. The Eight of Cups, Ace of Cups and Knight of Wands are all reversed and to me this is an inner dialogue. Is something being held back due to nostalgic pangs or are your craving some essense from years gone by? Are you convincing yourself that life is different and the things you wanted all that time ago no longer fit into your adult world? Have you convinced yourself that you don’t need to take action towards that anymore, after all it’s just a childish dream?
I don’t think it is? Can you feel some semblance of imbalance? Temperance too is reversed so this self perpetuated dialogue is there for a reason. Interrupting your mature thought processes for a reason.
Bang in the middle of March’s spread are two more sixes (we have all four this month) The Six of Pentacles and The Six of Wands. I feel that these sixes are showing that even if there’s a sense of discomfort or imbalance or desire to return to simpler times, you don’t need to fret. The central line is completed by The King of Pentacles meaning you are well on the way to have a far more stable life than you perhaps feel. Certainly the King denotes financial security as well as leadership qualities. Although we later see the Six of Wands reversed and it could indicate a reluctance to leave things behind, l get the sense this month, it’s more about integrating things that have sentimental value to you, into your everyday world. The Magician is your creative power. Your ability to alchemically blend all elements. What are you putting together? I’m not sure, but you should find any fears surrounding this are releasing and you’re ready to reintroduce something you believed was no longer meant to be in your life today. The result is Five of Cups reversed whatever you are doing this month will bring cohesive emotional support. It will feel familiar. It will feel good and it will leave you feeling enchantment. What a nice way to spend March!
